Ok, I admit it. I’m one of those girls. You know those girls…the ones who hook up with guys they meet on the internet.
I’m a busy girl. I have a career, a house, friends, too many hobbies. And a high sex drive. I don’t want to play a bunch of games to get some action, I just want to get some!
So, like the Millennial they tell me I am, I turned to the one thing in my life that has never let me down – the internet. On Craigslist you can find a job, a couch, a treadmill, and a one night stand. What more could you want?
Now, if you’re not familiar with the “Casual Encounters” section of Craigslist, you might not know that the ratio of men to women is a bit….high. Actually, it could be termed “astronomically high.” And while men have trouble finding women who are not bots or spammers, my problem has always been not laughing myself sick at some of the ridiculous things that men think will get them laid. While I’ve had my share of luck with Craigslist, I have also read some of the most unerotic pieces of text I have ever seen in my life that did not come out of an Economics textbook. Posts that make my girlie bits want to run away and hide for a good long time.
And that is what this blog is about – sharing that joy with the world! As I find some of the more ridiculously sublime Craigslist Casual Encounters posts, I will post the salient bits here. I have no interest in revealing anyone’s identity, but I have a vested interest in revealing the ill-advised ploys men use to get women to open their legs!
